Our Approach at Inner Solace Therapy
you are worthy of feeling better
You are so much more than your anxious feelings and past experiences
At Inner Solace Therapy, we treat you as a whole person because you are more than your symptoms.
We have curated a space filled with compassion and validation to help you grow from your current state of being to a place of balance – mentally, physically, and emotionally.
With a holistic focus on the mind-body connection, we’ll create a treatment plan that is tailored to you and your unique experiences.
We know that it feels impossible to handle your emotions and navigate your past experiences right now, but through our guidance and support, you can reclaim your inner solace and become the empowered, confident individual you long to be.
Therapy Modalities
-
Through sharing your trauma narrative, you will be able to confront and address intrusive memories and symptoms of PTSD.
-
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a modality of therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It’s a common treatment for emotional challenges like anxiety and depression.
When incorporating CBT in your treatment plan, we focus on the cognitive processes that produce your feelings. We work to change your behavior and attitudes and gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes.
-
CPT helps you challenge your distorted thoughts about yourself and the world stemming from traumatic or stressful experiences.
-
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a method that involves using bilateral stimulation while your therapist uses eye movements, tones or taps to reprocess disturbing memories and move them to a more functional part of the brain. The goal of this therapy is to help you heal from trauma or other life experiences that have been causing you distress.
-
The Gottman Method is a therapy modality that is designed to help couples improve their relationships by teaching them specific skills and tools for communicating effectively, managing conflict, and building a strong, healthy bond.
The Gottman Method focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying issues in a relationship, rather than just addressing symptoms. The goal is to help you and your partner learn how to create a deeper sense of intimacy, trust, and connection in your relationship.
-
By reconnecting with your Inner Child, you can find healing through becoming the parent you needed.
Mission Statement
The mission at Inner Solace Therapy is to provide highly effective and individualized services to professionals and couples who are struggling to find a healthy balance in their lives due to past trauma and/or mental health challenges; with the ultimate aim of promoting individual growth, strengthening emotional bonds between couples, and improving communication. I do this by working with my clients to first understand and identify their goals, and jointly curating a treatment plan to achieve those goals based on proven psychological methods. This involves helping them overcome challenges due to past life trauma, learning to own and cope with their present and/or making plans for the future. I believe everyone can heal, thrive, and reach their fullest potentials through my therapy sessions.
Vision Statement
To become a destination for total mental health and wellness services for professionals who are struggling to find a healthy balance in their lives. And to become an integral part of the community I serve, empowering individuals to rise above their past, gain full control of their lives and thrive.
